What rainy week!  We were inside for recess all week due to the wet playground.  Hopefully we will have some good spring weather soon.  Our last theme in reading is called a World of Animals.  Our favorite Big Book this week was Splash by Flora McDonnell.  We have many more animals stories to come.  ARE was
the popcorn word.  OP, OT, and OCK were the word family endings.

We worked on addition sentences using the symbols of + and =.  We modeled some problems using cubes.  We will are also reviewing  reading and writing numbers to 100.
